Welcome to Opal House Quilpie. At Opal House Quilpie you will enjoy your stay in our historic, 80 year old pub building. Fondly, still referred to as, "The  Brick," by many locals, Opal House Quilpie, is The Brick Hotel - Pub with no beer. Our rooms are renovated, with en-suites, and you can be assured of a clean, comfortable, relaxing, stay with a touch from a by-gone era. The rooms all have impressive, 12 foot ceilings, of nostalgic, pressed tin. Being a brick building, the rooms are reasonably insulated against the weather extremes which we  experience in the west. Fans and heaters, generally suffice to enhance the comfort of the rooms. Guests may enjoy television in their own rooms, internet access during opening hours, and refrigerator access, and off street parking. Our special feature, is the availability of  a complimentary, continental breakfast to allow you to relax before you get  going in the morning. Arriving out of hours??       You still have the advantage of personal shopping in our, "Outback Gallery," where you can be treated to a brilliant display of opals and art, which showcase Quilp[ie's best.
